Chloe Wheeler, MSW, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker who is passionate about working with children and families. She has a special interest in using play therapy techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help children better understand their emotions, develop coping tools, and feel more confident in who they are.
Chloe has experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and a variety of behavioral and emotional concerns. She previously worked as a therapist in a partial hospitalization day treatment program for children ages 3–8 with significant behavioral challenges and also has experience working with preteens navigating social, school, and family stressors.
Before becoming a therapist, Chloe worked as a child welfare caseworker, where she supported children and families involved in the child welfare system. This experience deeply shaped her passion for serving this population and gives her a strong understanding of the complexities families may be navigating. She is especially committed to creating a consistent, safe space where children feel secure, heard, and valued.
Her therapeutic style is person-centered and strengths-based. She leads with empathy and validation, helping children feel truly understood while building on their natural strengths. Chloe also believes humor can be a powerful part of the healing process and loves creating a space where children feel comfortable enough to laugh, connect, and simply be themselves. She values partnering closely with parents and caregivers, offering practical strategies and encouragement that extend beyond the counseling space.
When she’s not providing services, Chloe enjoys spending time with her family, loving on her dogs, and starting what is probably her latest craft project.
