Chelsea Matson, LCMHC

Clinic Manager

Chelsea has been a licensed therapist since 2018. She is a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist, and uses this approach primarily in her work. IFS is a trauma-informed experiential model that acknowledges we all have different parts of ourselves that either carry a wound or have a protective role in our lives. Additionally, we all have a Core Self that contains inner resources to heal and grow. Beyond her clinical work, Chelsea is passionate about supporting therapists and working collaboratively with them in their ongoing development. Chelsea considers it a true honor to work with therapists as they grow clinically, aiming to reinforce their passion and creativity in this meaningful work. Chelsea was drawn to Ellie – Charlotte’s commitment to foster genuine connections within the Ellie Team as well as with our clients. Ellie’s sense of community, along with its values of authenticity, humor, and compassion, creates an environment where clients and clinicians can take risks, be themselves, and thrive. In her free time, Chelsea finds joy in reading a good book, seeing live music, and learning to play guitar. Chelsea loves to travel, explore all the local coffee shops, and serve in the community. There is never a dull moment with her cat, Sophie.
