Catie Hodgson, LSW

Catie is a Licensed Social Worker that specializes in working with children and young adults. She is passionate about working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, learning disabilities, and self-esteem/body image. During her work with clients, Catie uses a trauma-informed approach that is rooted in acceptance and meeting the client where they are at in the present moment. She believes in a collaborative method where she works side by side with the client to set goals for therapy and identify coping skills that draw from their own unique personal strengths. Some of the evidence-based techniques she utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), play therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. She strives to provide a non-judgmental, supportive environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and feel empowered to take the tools discovered in therapy and apply them to their everyday lives.
