Catherine truly believes that we can all benefit from therapy from time-to-time and understands and greatly respects that it takes courage to take that initial step.
Clients can expect Catherine to be genuinely curious about them and their interest in therapy. She works collaboratively with clients and strives to make all clients feel comfortable and accepted. Catherine tends to be laid back and incorporates humor whenever possible. She a compassionate while direct way of communicating with her clients.
Catherine’s clinical experience ranges from working with individuals in their homes, in schools, and in the outpatient setting who are struggling with various mental health difficulties. Much of her work has included individuals have endured trauma, are struggling to adjust to a new phase of life/ transition, or are seeking help to mend relationships.
Catherine incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques and tends to take a non-directive approach when working with her clients. Catherine is adamant about tailoring therapy to clients’ individual and unique needs and places great importance on the therapeutic relationship. Catherine focuses on individual strengths and strives to meet clients where they are at.
Outside of work, Catherine spends her time enjoying her family and being outside whenever possible!
