Carrigan Gard, Masters in Mental Health Counseling

Carrigan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) with a BA in Psychology from St. Ambrose University and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings. Carrigan utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy, to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.

Passionate about supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. Carrigan strives to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. Her goal is to empower clients to develop the tools they need to improve their mental health and lead fulfilling lives through teamwork and mutual respect.
