Carrie is a dually licensed therapist with expertise and licenses in clinical counseling and addiction counseling. She is a person centered therapist which means she believes in meeting clients exactly where they are and working together to identify individualized paths to overcome whatever challenges they may be facing.
Carrie is a passionate therapist emphatically believing overcoming the stigma that surrounds both mental health and substance use disorders. Carrie believes in finding hope in seemingly hopeless circumstances and working to instill this in each person that she works with. Carrie is empathetic and compassionate; she is genuine and transparent in her therapeutic approach.
Carrie works with primarily adults and is passionate about working with individuals in overcoming symptoms associated with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma related symptoms, entering and maintaining recovery from substance use disorders, adjusting to major life changes.
Carrie has spent her professional career working in both outpatient and residential substance use/mental health treatment programs and private practice prior to joining the Ellie team.
Outside of work Carrie focuses on enjoying life to its fullest, spending as much time as possible with family, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.
