Carmela Rupe, LCSW


Carmela is a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience in the behavioral health field. She has spent the majority of her career treating various types of mental illness and trauma with children, adolescents, adults and couples and most recently has been working with active duty military members, veterans and their families. Carmela has extensive evidence based treatment training and likes to use multiple techniques to create holistic and individualized treatment plans. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and believes in creating understanding and supportive relationships as a foundation to addressing treatment goals.

Carmela earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work at Eastern New Mexico University and her Master’s of Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University and recently relocated to the Rockwall, TX area. In her free time, Carmela enjoys spending time with her son and husband, exploring Dallas, reading and weightlifting.
