Cara is a LSW and received her undergraduate and graduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Cara has experience working with a variety of populations, including families, children, adults, and couples. Cara has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, schools, and nursing homes. She has experience working in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, anger management, mood disorders, gender identity, behavioral issues, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Cara enjoys working with youth of all ages, from infants to adolescents, and is also passionate about working with adults, families, and couples. Cara utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches based on the clients’ needs and goals. Cara believes in the power of self-determination and utilizing strengths to face problems head on. She is caring, empathetic, and an attentive listener and strives to create a safe, nurturing, and judgmental free space for all of her clients.
