Camila Pescetto, Supervisee in Social Work

Therapist

Camila is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Supervisee in Social Work who earned her Master’s degree from Boston University. She has experience in community-based mental health settings and has worked closely with individuals in crisis, developing a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. Camila is deeply committed to supporting individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

She provides therapy to children as young as 10, as well as adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, and daily stressors. Camila takes a strengths-based, person-centered, and collaborative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed interventions.

In sessions, Camila offers a structured yet flexible environment where clients can reflect, process experiences, and build skills in emotional regulation, self-compassion, and problem-solving. She works closely with clients to set meaningful goals, identify thought and behavior patterns, and apply practical strategies to everyday life. Her style is warm, culturally responsive, and focused on empowering clients through increased self-awareness and resilience.

Outside of the therapy room, Camila enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her dog, and practicing pottery as a creative outlet.
