Intern

Caitlin (she/they) is currently working towards earning an MSW at Northern Kentucky University with a projected graduation date of May 2026, and is excited to start their student placement at Ellie Mental Health. She currently serves as a Program Coordinator for University Connect and Persist (UCAP) and the Care Closet at NKU. Caitlin earned her first Master’s degree in English in 2014, and over the last ten years, they have worked in higher education in roles that span across university housing, academic advising, case management, and student mentorship. In their current position at NKU, Caitlin provides support to all students on campus who are struggling with personal, financial, or academic concerns, and they enjoy the opportunity to serve as a liaison for the LGBTQA+ Student Initiatives office and an advocate for the “elder queers” (fac/staff/admin) on campus. In their downtime, Caitlin loves to visit local shops, attend art and craft fairs, host game nights, and spend quality time with her chosen family.
