As a charlotte native Britni has over 10 years of experience in both health care and mental health counseling. Britni received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022. Britni has had the privilege of working with both children and adults in a variety of different settings including school-based therapy, group therapy, and outpatient therapy. Britni is currently a member of the American Counseling Association and the North Carolina counseling Association. As a therapist Britni likes to take on a more person-centered approach, while also integrating CBT, Strength-based therapy, and motivational interviewing into her practice. She believes that “it is how we view ourselves that often reflects how we pursue the world”. Therefore, Britni loves to support and encourage her clients in discovering their most true and beautiful self. She came to Ellie Charlotte because she “knows it’s what my city needs, and I love how Ellie supports both clients and employees in being their true self.”
