Betsy Shevik, MSW, LGSW

Therapist

Betsy is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker pursuing Independent Licensure. Betsy has five years of experience in school, clinic, and community-based services and is passionate about the benefits of mental health services regardless of age.

Betsy understands the many barriers (both internal and external) to accessing therapy and enjoys engaging clients in making treatment reflect their unique needs. Betsy’s bubbly personality, compassion, and dedication to clients makes therapy comfortable and engaging.

Betsy is knowledgeable of many treatment modalities and enjoys adding elements of evidenced-based practices to therapy, particularly DBT skills.

Betsy is intentional in learning clients’ unique strengths, hobbies, values, and goals to make therapy a personal experience. Betsy’s favorite part of this work is witnessing others better understand themselves, their needs, their worth, and their voice.

In her free time, Betsy enjoys being outside with her partner and dogs, reading, watching movies, football, and hockey, playing games with family and friends, and trying new things.
