Beatrice Parker, LCSWA

Clinician

Beatrice’s favorite way to describe herself is as a Joy Architect because she believes we should all have daily moments of JOY. She went from bringing people together for the purpose of celebrating joyous occasions to holding space as a psychotherapist for people as they journey through life’s challenges. A two time graduate from UNC Chapel Hill and a LCSWA, Beatrice brings depth and an innovative perspective to the therapeutic space. Her diverse background includes being bicultural and fluent in Spanish, which allows her the ability to serve that population.

Her areas of practice include adults of all ages, individuals and couples in any life stage. She also has a special interest in helping women and mothers as they navigate the complexities of living multifaceted lives. Beatrice is a Satir trained therapist and sees her work with clients from a holistic approach and one in which she hopes her clients begin to experience JOY through improving their relationship to self, others and context. She takes time to be curious about her clients as they co-create the new possibilities of their existence.

When she is not working, you can find Beatrice with family and friends, cooking, enjoying music and serving her community.
