I graduated from UNM with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology. Society at large influences the way we think, feel and act and I believe it is integral to our mental health. Sociology helps to explain how personal troubles could actually be public issues.
I graduated from NMHU with a Master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. I enjoy working with kids and young adults. I like to use play therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I have experience working with trauma, attachment disorders, the neurodivergent population, as well as people who experience anxiety, depression, and OCD.
