Therapy is not a one size fits all treatment. As a compassionate and caring therapist, I will meet you where you are to offer the support you most need. I take time to get to know you as a unique individual and collaborate with you to identify your goals and offer guidance along the way so you can accomplish them.
I will empower you to work through topics you bring to session by gently guiding you to develop trust within yourself. I hold the belief that you are the greatest expert on your own life, and you hold all the answers within yourself, sometimes you need a little guidance to get there.
I am trained in person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, EMDR, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solutions focused therapy, self-compassion, Gottman therapy, and parts work. I work with individuals ages 17 years old and up and couples. I offer gender affirming care and am an LGBTQIA+ ally.
In a session with me you can expect to reflect on how your past experiences impact how you show up today, to learn about your nervous system, and to practice mindfulness skills such as breathing, visualizations and other body-based practices.
My goal is to leave you feeling more confident, resilient, self-aware, and empowered once we end our time together.
