Anna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She has worked primarily in community-based mental health as well as inpatient and outpatient substance use clinics. As a counselor, Anna enthusiastically and compassionately engages with teens, couples, individuals, and families to effectively navigate the challenges of life. She works mostly with adolescence and adults and her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, self-harm, LGBTQ issues, self-esteem, grief and loss, personal and emotional growth, as well as other life-adjustment issues. Anna strives to help her clients live a healthy and balanced life. Anna encourages clients to learn, discover, and understand themselves and the way they see the world around them. To do so, she utilizes techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Client-Centered Therapy.
