Anna Sofranko, MSW, LGSW, is a compassionate therapist with two Bachelor’s degrees in both Social Work and Women & Gender Studies as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work. Anna has gained experience in multiple settings including community mental health, school-based, residential treatment facilities, and medication management.
Anna’s therapeutic approach can be described as humanistic, client centered, and trauma-informed. Her approach is strengths-based and meaning-focused while being respectful of each individual’s unique abilities. She enjoys working with adolescents aged 14-17 as well as adults of any age. She has particular experience working with those who have developed maladaptive coping skills due to trauma as well as the LGBTQIA+ community. Anna emphasizes the importance of taking care of physical health and utilizing the arts as part of healing. She dabbles in arial acrobatics and oil painting.
