Angela North was born and raised in Dayton graduating from Sinclair College, Capital University and Wright State University with degrees and expertise in social work, mental health and public administration. Her experience and skills have been instrumental in her successful professional career. First as Executive Director of NAMI Clark, Greene and Madison Counties and then as Director of Affiliates at NAMI Ohio overseeing more than 40 NAMI affiliates. Angela now serves as President of the Board of Directors for NAMI Clark, Greene and Madison Counties.
Currently, she takes pride in working as a mental health therapist with Samaritan Behavioral Health and Ellie Mental Health. With a history of volunteerism for suicide prevention and response efforts, she has supported those who have been actively suicidal and was often the first mental health volunteer on scenes offering support and resources. Angela enjoys spending time with her family and is a role model to her two daughters, 7 year old granddaughter and 1 year old grandson.
