Angela is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Registered Art Therapist (ATR). She specializes in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, phobias, and mood-related disorders.
Angela has been working in the mental health field since 2018 in various settings including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. She specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Exposure Ritual/Response Prevention (ERP), and Art Therapy (AT). Angela has a person-centered approach with a strong connection with evidence-based practices. She feels her experience is helpful; however, the key to therapy is the importance of therapeutic connection. Clients are the drivers of the vehicle and Angela supports with the navigation.
As a born and raised Minnesotan, Angela enjoys spending as much time as she can outside during the summer and fall months. She is an avid runner and has completed a few half-marathons. She values quality time with family and friends, and her hobbies include yoga, artmaking, and hiking.
