Above all, Amy (she/her) values communication, connection, warmth, and humor in the path towards healing. She enjoys working with people from all walks of life, but has expertise in working with people with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, and body image concerns- additionally, she approaches clients from a Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered orientation and enjoys working with adults and adolescents. Amy views each of her clients as unique individuals who are the experts on themselves, and enjoys working collaboratively with clients to have their needs met in a safe, and compassionate manner. In her time away from work, Amy enjoys staying physically active, whether it be hiking, ballet, or trying new fitness classes, doing art, and spends as much time as possible cuddling her two cats.
