Amanda is a therapist committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal from past experiences, and reconnect with their sense of self. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, and culturally responsive and relational practices.

Amanda works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as trauma, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, grief, depression, self-esteem, identity development, life transitions, and stress. She incorporates mindfulness, expressive arts, and play-based strategies—especially when supporting her young clients. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Amanda brings a deep understanding of the emotional impact of migration, cultural adjustment, and living between cultures. She is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow with resilience, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.
