Amanda is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She knows that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming and it’s her goal to make the experience as safe, productive, and affirming as possible. Amanda views her role as a therapist to be your supportive advisor, sounding board, and at times your biggest cheerleader. Her goal is to partner with her clients to find solutions and a way through their challenges, past or present. It is a time to discuss barriers, tools, and strategies so you can show up as your most confident and whole self.
Amanda is passionate about working with children, young adults, and couples. However, she is excited to partner with anyone who desires change. Amanda prioritizes making sure therapy is a compassionate and culturally competent space and has experience working with diverse groups of people. She has experience working with women’s issues, family challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma (including religious trauma), grief and loss. Amanda utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach but knows that every client is unique and will tailor her approach to what works best for you.
Amanda believes that we all belong and strives to create a space where your voice and story are heard, valued, and held with great care.
Amanda enjoys trying new restaurants with friends, playing games with her family, and traveling to new places preferably with a beach.
