Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15+ years of experience, graduating with her Master’s from Webster University. She specializes in working with young adults coping through life transitions. She supports both adolescents and adults from a non-judgmental, strengths-based and genuine place to encourage them in connecting to their authentic selves in order to cope with depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns to be able to move toward a balanced life they want to live. She utilizes skills and techniques from CBT, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and has completed training in EMDR.
