Bio

Alysia is strengths based therapist practicing from a social justice, trauma informed, and gender-affirming lens. She believes that building an authentic and trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation to success in therapy. Alysia provides a non-judgmental environment where clients can feel their story matters. She recognizes that therapy is a collaborative process and each individual has a unique set of needs and goals. Alysia is authentic in session and welcomes all the feels and cuss words!

Alysia works primarily with folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. She focuses on helping clients explore their identity, feelings of shame and guilt, and cultural marginalization.

She practices from a (HAES) Health at Every Size framework and works beside clients to explore body neutrality, body awareness, self worth, and self love.

Outside of work Alysia is a dog mom, vinyl collector, thrift shopper, and explorer of coffee, food, music, and nature.
