Community Based Director

In the community-based services director role, you are responsible for managing 12 pre-licensed staff working in ARMHS, CTSS and In-Home roles. In this role, you will be working with a team of directors in promoting community-based programs in compliance with DHS. This position is full-time and salaried plus commission.     This role is overseen by the Community Based Services Senior Director

Responsibilities & Duties

Administrative Role and Responsibilities (45%)
  • Assist CBS practitioners fully utilize training – hands on work with practitioners for the Golden Thread
  • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy with practitioners.
  • Conduct individual supervision with practitioners on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to help with staff development and adhering to the company policies
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in the community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help practitioners achieve and exceed goals
  • Help create and participate in all community staff meetings and trainings

    Clinical and Staff Responsibilities and Duties (45%)
  • Complete assessment and treatment planning to direct rehabilitative and skills-focused services in a variety of settings, including clinical, home, and community-based.
  • Complete diagnostic evaluations with clients
  • Establish personal recovery goals, rehabilitative goals, and objectives with each client
  • Utilize creativity in rehabilitative interventions to help clients achieve goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, and school staff as needed
  • Maintain a minimum of 12 client hours weekly
Projects as Needed (10%)
  • Ongoing changes as needed for continued staff development, special projects, and creating new processes as they arise
  • Maintain clinical caseload of 12 client hours per week
  • Provide supervision to 12 practitioners

Qualifications & Skills

  • Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral health sciences or related field from an accredited college or university and must have a valid MN license as a Mental Health Professional (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW). Preferably LMFT license with approved supervisor status.
  • Ideal candidates will have knowledge of case management services in being delivered in MN
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with diverse client base
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Procentive, and Learning Management Systems
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (Community Based Only)
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
  • Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
