Jennifer Morrash, LISW-CP

Therapist

Jennifer is a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practitioner (LISW-CP) with a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, and my approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with both adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. I spent five years working with survivors of domestic violence and their children, and the past four years supporting adolescents in a crisis stabilization program. These experiences have shaped my trauma-informed, client-centered approach and deepened my commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can heal and grow.

I use evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to support clients in managing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship challenges.

I especially enjoy working with young adults as they begin navigating the complexities of adulthood. My goal is to be a compassionate, empathetic presence as clients explore who they are, what they value, and how they want to live. In my free time, I love spending time with my furbabies, going on weekend motorcycle rides with my husband, and curling up with a good book.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here to help you reconnect with your authentic self and create space to thrive.
