Brianna Peterson, LMHCA

Therapist

Brianna has experience working with young children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings such as residential, primary school, intensive outpatient, and group practice. She has a passion for utilizing play-based therapy with children through a trauma-informed and attachment approach. She has a background working with individuals on the autism spectrum as well as those struggling with OCD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorder, children of divorce, children of adoption, friend or family conflict, and life changes.

Brianna believes in the importance of early intervention and providing a safe, warm, and playful space for children to show up, just as they are. She sees working with caregivers as essential to the therapeutic process so both children and caregivers can build healthy attachments.

Outside of the office, Brianna enjoys yoga, traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and backpacking.
