Danelle is a Professional Clinical Counselor that was inspired by her own life experiences to pursue a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating from Bethel University in May 2023. She welcomes clients from all backgrounds, embracing diversity in abilities, races, sexualities, genders, religions, and political values. Danelle’s clinical interests include trauma and PTSD, couple and family issues, grief, anxiety, depression, substance use, and Christian counseling. She is trained in EMDR therapy and utilizes various approaches including DBT, CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
Danelle enlisted in the Air National Guard in 2003 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Metro State University in 2008. Recently retired from the Air Force, her military service highlighted the need for mental health providers who understand the unique challenges faced by veterans. As a military spouse, Danelle also recognizes the complexities of supporting an active-duty service member.
Living in the south metro with her husband and two daughters, Danelle values family time, especially during Minnesota’s summers, enjoying all outdoor activities. Danelle believes in the power of collaboration in therapy, trusting that everyone has the inner strength to change their life story with the right support and perspective.
