KaRina Covey

Master's Level Intern

I graduated in 2020 with my Bachelor’s in Criminology and Minor in Forensic Psychology. I am currently in a Master’s program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received my psychological first aid certification this year and I am currently studying to become certified in pastoral counseling. I am eager to work with adults, young adults, and groups in treating depression, suicide ideation and prevention, trauma and crisis, substance abuse, and spiritual concerns. I am skilled in various therapeutic approaches; however, I favor reality therapy, motivational interviewing, strength-focused, and faith-based counseling to help foster happiness and resiliency towards living a healthy emotional and social life.
