I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and obtained my Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. I am fluent in Spanish and English. I have found my counseling approach to be focused on changing our negative thought patterns as they can have a huge impact on how we face challenges in life. I find counseling to be a collaborative effort in which I am able to impart knowledge, perspectives, and skills that can be helpful in the therapeutic journey. I am committed to creating a judgement-free, welcoming, and accepting environment. Whether you are looking to improve your coping skills, process grief or trauma, improve relationships, manage stress, or improve your overall mental health. Choosing to begin or continue therapy is not an easy decision, but definitely the right step towards healing. I enjoy working with children (10 and up), teens, and adults. The approaches I use most are CBT, DBT, and Person-Centered therapy.
